Guest book

Very nice location with good food and wine. Relaxing place and friendly people. The service and the attention for the guests are un-payable. I have met the Owner also and they were very kind ..Their attention to keep the level high is unbelievable
I spend 3 days in this place and i can assure you that this is one of the nicest boutique style hotels i have stayed in. Not only it is a charming place but quality of service is outstanding. The manager of the hotel is one of the most pleasant people i met in a long time what more when i forgot some of my belongings in a hotel she delivered it herself to my office place (this is not something that you see everyday). I HIGHLY recommend this place.
“GREAT PLACE TO STAY”Business Traveller from New Jersey, USA
Eloquent country atmosphere on our doorstep...homely meals served. Rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorates, especially the honeymoon suite. Perfect venue for a small intimate wedding, we personal touch from the staff.
“HIDDEN COUNTRY GETAWAY”Holiday Guest from Randburg, South Africa
I loved this place! I stayed last month for two nights and the service was absolutely spotless. It was by far the most comfy bed and best sleep of anywhere I've stayed in SA (and I've stayed in a number of cities and lots of B&Bs). I chose it on account of its proximity to work and also because they have a small gym. I was training for a half marathon on the time so I needed a treadmill, but the surrounding area was safe to run in as well. I feel like there was such great attention to detail, from the boutique chocolate on the bedside table to water in the fridge to the amazing water pressure and rainfall showerhead. It's the little things that make a huge difference when you're away from home for weeks! The grounds are gorgeous and the place has a wine country getaway vibe to it (the rooms are named after types of wine and there are even cute little bunnies running around!). There is an adjacent tea garden as well. All very relaxing and a nice change of pace. One of the evenings I didn't feel like going out for dinner, so Tamara the GM made me a delicious bobotie, better than anywhere I've had elsewhere in SA. She was so sweet, helpful, and personable. I highly recommend this place and will be back the next time!
I was on a short trip to the proximity of Johannesburg recently and had the pleasure of staying at this unique guesthouse in Roodepoort. There is a saying that "East West, home is best", but the alternative could be "North South, home is best". I clearly discovered my second home far south, leaving home in the northern hemisphere. What a beautiful setup both inside and outside in a peaceful and safe residential area. The owner has good taste when it comes to furnishing the place. Each room is named after a different wine grape - the owner is clearly a connoisseur. Occasionally, a car can be heard from the distance, but running water via a couple of fountains in the garden adds to the soothing and relaxing atmosphere. The friendly staff members are service-minded and you feel more like being a member of a family than a complete stranger. The ever so sweet staff manager does an excellent job serving a delicious breakfast and running the place and the gardeners do their job to perfection, too. The lawn looks like a golf course - not a single weed to be spotted. Forget about impersonal hotels. This place is a real treat for your soul and body and highly recommendable and gives you good value for your money.
